Motel Manuel Burgos

A friendly American welcome

Manuel Burgos works for part of the year near Boston as a painter and decorator, but he prefers life in Faja d`Agua. He likes to chat about the island where he was born and to introduce you to his many relatives. He will collect you and return you to the port in the back of a Toyota Pickup (without the Kalashnikov mounting so popular with the Iraqis). It is a bumpy ride and not for the faint-hearted, but worth it for the wonderful mountain backdrop and the pretty bay where you can swim when the sea is not too rough. Food is simple usually fresh tuna, chicken and rice or all of the above. He has nice wine at very low prices.
